Job Description

UPS Customer Service and Sales Associate Location Harbor City, CA :

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues they may have. Skills in sales and up-selling is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Notary Public license is preferred

-Knowledge of basic graphic design (a huge plus but not required)

-Ability to lift 50lbs

-Must be able to type 40wpm

-Basic Computer Skills

-Basic knowledge of operating common office tools & components such as: fax, copier, printers, cameras. Etc.

-Must speak & write English Fluently

-Must have excellent verbal communication skills

-Must be detail oriented

-Must have ability to multi-task & work well under pressure.

-Must keep store well organized and clean.

-Must have ability to work alone at times.

-Must have flexible availability Monday - Sunday

-Packing & Shipping experience (a huge plus, but not required)

***A Notary public and/or basic graphic designer will earn a higher wage

### Some of your Responsibilities if you are hired will include:

- Performing Notary Services daily as needed and requested by the customers.

- Proactively identify Sales opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to customers- Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies to customers- Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving order discrepancies- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or resolve any outstanding issues- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions- Collaborate with other departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns- Continuously analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in our products or services

- Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner

- Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership

- Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions

- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends

- Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others

- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment

- Performs other duties as assigned

### Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred- Previous experience in )- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish ( Spanish or preferred)- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to actively listen and empathize with customers- Proficient in data entry and navigating computer systems- Ability to analyze information and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations- Bilingual/multilingual abilities are highly desirable
