We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Peachtree (Sage 50), a solid understanding of GAAP, and experience handling full-cycle bookkeeping tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records for various clients Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and collections Process payroll and prepare related tax filings, including W-2s and 1099s Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly Prepare and enter journal entries and general ledger transactions Assist with month-end and year-end closings Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax regulations Communicate with clients regarding financial status and any outstanding items Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting preferred 3–5 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience Proficiency in QuickBooks and Peachtree (Sage 50) Familiarity with payroll systems and tax reporting Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines Experience working independently and as part of a team Preferred: Experience with multiple client accounts Prior work in an accounting or CPA firm environment
