This is a full time, hybrid role with our office in New York City. This position does require 3 days in office and 2 days that can be completed remotely from home.  The hiring base annual salary range for this position is $81,000 - $95,000.


Who We Are Looking For:

The Associate Designer will be responsible for supporting the MM design team in executing updates ad revisions to seasonal assortments ensuring consistency in brand aesthetics, silhouette details and design intent across multiple categories. This individual will assist the team through every aspect of the design process; from research to design, product knowledge and development. This is an exciting and varied role that requires a pro-active individual who thrives in a fast paced and vibrant environment but can remain calm under pressure.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute design updates and revisions to existing CADs including new colorways, prints, fabrications, graphic placements, trims, and embellishments.
  • Update technical flats and design illustrations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to garment details.
  • Support refreshes to colorways, prints, re-merchandising, and revisions as needed for each seasonal assortment.
  • Ensure consistency in brand aesthetics, silhouette details, and seasonal design intent across updated styles.
  • Assist in creating and updating line sheets to reflect assortments and design changes.
  • Partner with MM Team, tech design, product development, sourcing, and compliance teams to implement timely and correct updates.
  • Maintain design file organization across shared libraries, digital folders and PLM systems.
  • Ensure consistency in brand aesthetics, silhouette details, and seasonal design intent across all styles.
  • Assist in any part of the design process required by the MM Team.

Who You Are:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a fashion design role, with specific exposure to baby/childrens a plus.
  • Fashion Design degree or related work experience.
  • Previous experience of delivering CADs and print development.
  • A good communicator and excellent auditory listener.
  • Keen attention to detail a must.
  • Knowledge of trends.
  • Solid understanding of garment construction.
  • Excellent organization with an ability to manage a changing workload effectively to meet weekly deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task various and competing demands.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-seasonal environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Tech Pack knowledge/PLM Systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office .
